I really wonder how some people can be such suckers for misery/pain. They know it's gonna hurt but yet they pretty much dive head first into the heap of ... issues. Call it taking a chance, fate or letting things play out. Does it not stem from idealistic tendencies? Like, really pure, concentrated idealism that borders on the point of irrationality. That's what we call... unrealistic, right? Then why does it still happen more often that it should?! Even I'm guilty of doing that sometimes. Hmm.
