Somewhere, over there. Or is it there?

I had to go to a Bigass College today for a meeting. So my friend- henceforth known as TWiX-, another guy and I took a bus from The College, walked into the Bigass College, wandered around and promptly got lost.

Being resourceful people, we asked random students for directions.

"Hi, could you tell us where Block A is?"

"Oh, it's somewhere there. -waves hand in a general direction behind him-"

"0.0 okay, thanks."

We walked in The General Direction Behind Him and saw nothing that said Block A. So we accosted this other fella and asked for help.

"Hi, could you tell us where Block A is?"

"Oh uh, you just walk straight that way and turn left."

"Okay, thanks!"

Happy at getting some remotely proper directions, we set off.

"Hey, this is Block B! Not A!"

"But that guy said this way, turn left!"

Since left turned out wrong, we headed right. After a while...

"This is still Block B! Why's it so big!"

Aimless wandering got us nowhere. In the end, TWiX called his friend/ my senior who saved the day by rescuing us from the area below the lecture theatres. Turned out Block A was the building RIGHT SMACK IN THE MIDDLE, the building we were in when we asked for directions the first time round.
