Run with the wind!

You know that scenario when you're some 60m from the bus stop and your bus pulls up ahead of you? & that particular bus is one that rigidly obeys the blasted Murphy's Law? The response is a reflex ohh shitt, one arm holds onto bag, starts sprinting towards the bus, the other arm flailing (failed attempt to stall the bus). (Most times, you're lucky. The kind people at the bus stop'll tell the bus driver hey, there's some crazy chick there making beeline for this bus. Other times, the kind people at the bus stop are really, really apathetic. They watch you running like a headless chicken from afar and stare at you when you reach the bus stop cursing like a sailor.)

 Long digression.

So anyway, that was exactly what I did, (except that I had no hands to flail cos I was clutching a precious bag of DURIAN ROLLS and holding onto my other bag) conveniently forgetting that I recently sprained my foot. There's still some lingering pain and a barely noticeable limp to my gait. See, that's the thing about 80% recovered injuries - we forget they exist cos they don't hurt if there's no strain. In any case, the consequence of that impromptu bus stop sprint is additional calf mooscle pain (I think it's called the gastrocnemius). It sucks to be so unfit.

IN OTHER MORE (debatably) EXCITING NEWS, I have finally procured a swimming cap. It's purple.
